Orchard Village Behavioral Health Center

This 7,000 sq. ft. behavioral health center was completed for Orchard Village, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with developmental disadvantages. This space size is relatively small compared to other facilities AKA has designed for Orchard Village in the past, so integrating the client's typical requirements was a challenge. The building users' needs were kept at the forefront. For example, interior furnishing and color schemes were carefully selected and assigned to areas of the building based on how each color stimulated and emotionally affected disadvantaged users.
