UChicago Medicine Managed Care Move

Working closely with the University of Chicago Medicine, AKA converted an existing patient wing into an office suite, which includes offices, conference rooms, and an open office. The project also involved relocating an executive conference room which required a new vertical platform lift. In order to solve the main design challenge of integrating a vertical platform lift (which comes in basic standard designs) with the unique wood paneling of the corridor, AKA used wood detailing to mimic the existing aesthetic of the corridor.
